What Maryam has reviewed
- Reviewed 🇦🇪 United Arab Emirates — edition of , signed off Player pageOperator pageLicence guide
The review covers the regulatory checklist (the regulator and the law, licences and how to apply, costs and taxes, technical rules, player protection, marketing, compliance and complaints). It does not cover operator and licence lists, enforcement cases, market figures or news. Changes we make after a review are ours: each page lists them, dated and with their official source, as added since the review and not formally reviewed.
How a review works
- Our research team answers every question of our regulatory checklist from official documents only: the law, its implementing decisions and the regulator's own pages and register. Every figure is traced to the document and sentence that states it.
- Maryam reads that research against the primary law in the original language, and corrects or confirms each answer.
- Once Maryam signs it off, the pages carry Maryam’s name, the date of the review and the edition it covers. Anything we add or change after that edition is ours: the page lists it as added since the review, dated and with its official source.
