Operators must provide the DGJA with identifying and contact details for their technology providers and platforms within 30 calendar days from the resolution’s entry into force. The resolution also prohibits opening new lottery banks, agencies, or sales points, effective from its issuance.

Law 86-26 of 22 September 2026, "que regula los Juegos de Azar de la República Dominicana", creates the Dirección General de Juegos de Azar (DGJA) and sets up a new regime for betting and games of chance; the DGJA is run by a director general the President appoints (art. 15), and Decree 684-26 of 2 October 2026 named a transitional director general. We have not yet read the law's own text in the Gaceta Oficial; these lines come from the decree.
